I am a life-long learner. My mind absorbs new information like its sugar. I have long ago accepted that about myself. Its what makes me happy and that is 100% ok which is why I love painting because I am always learning something about myself, learning about the process and trusting what shows up on the canvas is for me to decipher and figure out.

I really enjoy process painting. Process painting is very different from product painting.

Process art making is essentially unplanned “in the moment” creative expression. When we do process art, you create spontaneously and release the need for an acceptable or finished product. Process art provides me with an opportunity to connect on a deeper level and create without judgement.

Connecting with the colour and any imagery that shows up on the canvas can provide me with clues to what is going on inside of me.

We are all creative. Every single choice you make, from the clothes you are wearing, décor in your house, and the meals you cook comes from your unique creativity.

Being creative does not mean you need to be able to paint landscapes or draw sea monkeys! Process art requires no experience or artistic ability, and it is a joyful, collaborative process of intuitive listening to where you are, right now.

I am offering a workshop that centers on process-oriented art making and reflective writing based on the open studio process. I will be providing you with the opportunity for a self-directed creative practice. This process is a straight-forward approach which will provide you with the space for intuitive art making with structured writing.
